Feed chain CHAMPION

Back in 1938, Big Dutchman introduced the world’s first automatic chain feeding system, marking the beginning of a new era in poultry farming. Thanks to its robust and straightforward design, this feeding system has proven itself millions of times over the years. The basic concept – feed hopper, drive unit, corner, trough, and the CHAMPION feed chain – has remained unchanged. However, the overall system is continuously improved and adapted to meet the modern demands of broiler breeder management. Key features include a high conveying speed of up to 36 m/min and the uniform distribution of feed in the trough. Only with such a rapid feeding system can controlled feeding of broiler breeders be successfully implemented.
